ABOUT MANDY: As a city kid who grew up in the suburbs and later married a farmer, I wanted to learn about and "design" this way of life in my own way. I've found comfort and fulfillment in connecting with nature and caring for my more than 30 farm animals - mainly Scottish Highland Cattle. I believe you can never have enough fluffy cows? While I've learned how to farm the land from my husband, I've focused more on caring for and interacting with the animals. This way of life brings me a lot of peace and joy; I've discovered the beauty in the imperfections that come with running a farm. I feel like I'm doing something meaningful and have learned to appreciate the little things that others might overlook.
