A JOURNEY TO THE “SMALL ISLES”
To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we travelled to the Isle of Muck in Scotland to find out what muck means to this community, who confront mud every day in their work and daily lives. The mere 32 inhabitants of this community off the west coast of Scotland face the wind, the sea, and the harsh landscape with an unyielding will every single day.
These islanders embody the quintessential Muck brand: they face the challenges of daily life brought by the island's relentless climate. All of them are closely connected to the weather, the land, and the sea, and each relies on the others for the community to live from harvesting, hunting, and fishing.
